ISB Delivers SAP Project for CPShips

CP Ships was a US$4billion turnover container shipping Group listed on the Toronto and New York Stock Exchanges. ISB Global were retained to conduct a thorough independent review of the SAP applications in use and the procedures adopted during their implementation. ISB were then tasked with the remedial and optimisation work required. The project coveed an 8mth period.

Group Financial Controller, Mr Auger was the primary project sponsor and said that "ISB Global have provided a number of significant improvements to the operational efficiency, and enhanced the quality of reported data of the SAP Financial Systems in CP Ships. This included the improvement of SAP procedures within the finance function, cleansing of data, and clearance of old and redundant transactions and balances. This project coincided with a number of overlapping initiatives and organisational challenges. Given the constraints created by these challenges, ISB successfully completed this project within the required timescales. Following the acquisition of CP Ships, further work was undertaken to shorten the reporting timetables which was assisted by opportunities identified by ISB. Excellent work ISB"
